Gratitude is an attitude. You may have heard that before. True it is an attitude but an attitude that requires you to make a conscious choice. Try this on for gratitude - Two girls in a Nazi concentration camp were made to sleep in a shed and on beds that were flee infested. This was an awful situation, but the girls were grateful. They were grateful for the shelter. They were grateful for a place to sleep. They were grateful for the beds and… wait for it… they were grateful for the flees. Yes, for the flees. Why would they be thankful for the flees?
Well we learn that the flees kept the ill-intentioned guards out, thus the flees protected them from the guards. So even in the toughest most awful situations you can be grateful, the question is how? We all know that to be successful at who you want to be, you need to do things to be that person. As you prepare to start streaking toward being a grateful person, remember the laws of streaking:

Law #3: Create a Community
When you are grateful your burdens are lighter, you day is brighter, and your life is higher. When you set up streaks to be grateful the roots of happiness will grow strong in your soul. Try this streak stack to be deliberately grateful in your life:

Streak 1: Send a thank you text to at least one person daily
Streak 2: Write at least one thing you are thankful for in your journal daily
Streak 3: Write and send at least one thank you note weekly
